HOTS - Holster Optimised Tourniquet System
The Holster Tourniquet Sleeve is a low-profile nylon laminate and elastic mount that attaches to a Safariland QLS or similar holster mount. The HOTS places your tourniquet and permanent marker by your sidearm without impeding your draw or belt equipment. A small piece of adhesive hook Velcro can then be placed on the bridge of the holster, keeping the tourniquet in place.
Far too many Police officers are not carrying tourniquets simply due to the lack of a convenient carriage option, as existing products are generally too large or bulky, and require additional MOLLE or metallic mounts. This product was created to solve this problem. The sleeve weighs almost nothing and takes up the unused space in front of the holster rather than occupying space on an operator's belt or vest.
Tourniquet and permanent marker not included.

Installation Instructions
-
- Unscrew your holster from it's mounting platform.
- Sandwich the HOTS between your holster and mounting platform and replace your screws.
- Place in your Tourniquet and permanent marker.
- With the HOTS loaded, align the HOTS with the bridge of the holster, take note of where the HOTS hook surface meets with the bridge of the holster.
- Using a needle or similar, carefully remove the adhesive backing from the loop surface.
- Attach the loop surface to the bridge of your holster and apply firm pressure for 30 seconds.
- For best results, apply even heat from a hair dryer or heat gun. Heat should be no more than 50°C or warm to the touch. After heating, again apply firm pressure for thirty seconds.
- Allow the adhesive to cure for 72 usage prior to any heavy usage.
The adhesive performs very well on Kydex/plastic holster surfaces even if you slighly stuff up the application. Applying the adhesive to nylon cordura wrapped holsters must be done carefully step by step with heat to avoid peeling.
